ST. LOUIS, Mo. (First Alert 4) - Fairview Heights Police said Saturday that two teens were arrested and a parent was charged after a gathering of 250 teens resulted in multiple fights. An officer was keeping an eye out after about 250 teenagers gathered at a Raising Canes in Fairview Heights after some of the local high school football games. Then, an employee of the Raising Canes called and said there was a fight inside the restaurant. When the officer responded, he heard that two girls had been fighting and then left. The officer then saw that there was a large fight closer to Taco Bell. There, he saw a boy punching a girl and arrested him. As other officers arrived to the scene, they heard two teen boys arguing. The officers told the boys to leave. One boy left and the other refused to leave. He lunged at an officer with his fists ready to fight, but subsequently tripped and fell into a bush. He was arrested. Police say the two boys arrested are brothers and they're from Belleville. There was a third boy detained, but he was released after it was determined that he had minor involvement in the situation. The parent of the two boys was charged with failure to supervise and will have to appear in court. The boys will be charged by the juvenile court. Police are reviewing video of the incident, and say more charges will be issued. Police also gave a warning that any teens gathering and loitering near the location will be trespassed and their cars will be towed. Police say teens inside the building who are not buying something will be arrested and charged, and their parent will also be charged. #firstalert4 #crimewatchstlouis
