(First Alert 4) - An at-large warrant has been issued against a suspect police say fired shots in Maryland Heights and led officers on a car chase that ended in Bridgeton. Police are searching for 24-year-old Kaleek S. Harrington. Kaleek Harrington is wanted by police in connection to police pursuit and shots fired case. (Maryland Heights Police Department) The St. Louis County Prosecutor's Office has charged Harrington with first-degree assault against a special victim, unlawful possession of a firearm, leaving the scene of an accident, aggravated fleeing and resisting/interfering with an arrest. The shooting in Maryland Heights happened around 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. The shooting escalated into an officer-involved shooting, police say. Two suspects then fled from the scene onto northbound I-270 and then onto eastbound I-70. The car the suspects were in crashed just east of I-270 before the suspects ran. One suspect was taken into custody and taken to a nearby hospital with minor injuries. Investigators were searching for Harrington in the area of Hermann Estates Drive in Bridgeton on Thursday night. Police say Harrington's last known address is in the 4200 block of West San Francisco Street. Police ask the public not to approach, attempt to detain or otherwise contact Harrington.
