ST. LOUIS, Mo. (First Alert 4) - A man is facing 11 charges in connection with car break-ins that happened in Forest Park across the month of September. Jarvis Williams, 43, was arrested and charged with four counts of first-degree property damage, four counts of second-degree burglary, one count of stealing a firearm, one count of fraudulent use of credit or debit and one count of unlawful possession of a firearm. He is being held on no bond. According to charging documents, Williams is believed to have taken part in around 20 car break-ins between September 3 and September 30. People returned to their cars, finding them broken into and items missing, including the theft of a gun, credit cards and identification. Documents state that Williams was seen on surveillance video buying items at a QuikTrip gas station after stealing a person's credit card.
