Milwaukee police are investigating after a woman reported that she was forced into a truck near Brady Street and driven to a Pick 'n Save parking lot, where she was assaulted before she was able to escape. The victim told police that she was grabbed her by the neck and forced her into a dark truck, and then later told a detective that she did not recall leaving the bar, and reported that the next thing she recalled was being in the backseat of a vehicle, according to the complaint. Surveillance footage shows Lopez-Simon sat on a porch of one of the businesses on Brady Street next to the victim, the victim was barely able to get up and was falling over after taking one step on the sidewalk, before Lopez-Simon is seen reaching out his hand to the victim and they then walk out of the camera's view, according to the complaint. Lopez-Simon's girlfriend spoke with detectives, and told them on the night of the incident, they had gone to a birthday party. He then brought her home and went back out. The next morning, she said she noticed a scratch on his face, according to the complaint. The search warrant The search warrant states that on Sunday, a 24-year-old woman was on Lyon Street and contacted police to report that she was a victim of sexual assault. She said she had been walking in the area of North Warren Street, near Brady Street, when a man grabbed her by the neck and forced her into a dark truck, according to the search warrant.
