A man accused of stabbing a woman who was watching her child's soccer game in Miami back in August was arrested, authorities said. Jayson Suprinvil, 31, was charged with aggravated battery with a deadly weapon. Watch NBC6 free wherever you are WATCH HERE WATCH HERE According to authorities, on Aug. 23, officers arrived at 6301 Northeast 2nd Avenue after receiving reports of a man who was armed with a knife. An arrest report said that officers found the victim, who had a stab wound on her upper right buttocks. Suprinvil was then found at Northeast 1st Avenue and 64th Terrace and was detained, the report said. When deputies spoke to a witness, he told them that he was at the soccer game and saw Suprinvil approach the victim, pull out an object from his waistband and start to stab her several times, the report said. The witness, the report said, then followed Suprinvil and led officers to him. Detectives then spoke with a second witness who did not see the encounter, but said he heard yelling and saw Suprinvil putting a large knife in his waistband and walking away from the park, the report said. At the hospital, the victim told detectives she was at the soccer game to see her child play and was sitting on a brick ledge when Suprinvil approached her and stood close to her, the report said. The victim, the report said, then saw Suprinvil pulling out a large kitchen knife from his pants and started stepping on her several times. The victim told detectives that she threw herself to the ground to protect herself, and she suffered a stab wound to her buttocks. After the stabbing, Suprinvil then walked away. The woman said she had never seen the man before, the report said. During his court appearance on Aug. 24, the victim spoke about her injuries. I had like cut to my body, she said.
