According to a website created by the family, Brattain suffered severe, life-threatening injuries and faces a long and difficult road to recovery. His parents are close to him daily at the hospital as they navigate his care. The family lives in Kendall. Royal Bahamas police said they found the owner of the dogs, and they are assisting officers with securing the animals. News reports out of Bimini said a resident has been arrested tied to the attack, but NBC6 is still working to confirm that. There are also reports that the dogs involved in the attack have been euthanized. NBC6 has not verified those reports. #nbcmiami #crimewatchmiami
