GRANT TOWNSHIP, Mich. - A 41-year-old woman has died following a severe three-vehicle accident that occurred in a St. Clair County intersection on Monday. Investigators with the St. Clair County Sheriff's Office say the crash took place just before 5 p.m., after a woman in a white Dodge Journey entered the intersection of Wildcat and Burtch roads in Grant Township and crashed into a black Jeep Liberty. Deputies say the Dodge Journey was traveling southbound on Wildcat Road when it collided with the Liberty, which was traveling westbound on Burtch. The Journey then collided with a grey Chevrolet Impala traveling northbound through the intersection. The St. Clair County Sheriff's Office is investigating a three-vehicle crash that left one woman dead and four others injured in Grant Township on Monday, Oct. 5, 2026. Two others suffered minor injuries in the crash.
