OAKLAND COUNTY, Mich. - The northbound lanes of I-75 at Baldwin Road in Oakland County are closed for a Michigan State Police investigation into a freeway shooting.

The incident occurred on Wednesday (Sept. 16) around 5:40 p.m. near Ortonville Road after receiving reports of shots fired on the freeway.

No injuries have been reported.

Troopers said they are in the early stages of the investigation and are searching the area for evidence.

Motorists are advised to seek an alternate route.

Anyone who witnessed the incident or has information is asked to contact the Michigan State Police.
