WAYNE COUNTY, Mich. - The man who crashed a car into Detroit Metro Airport earlier this year has pleaded guilty to one charge in an unrelated stalking case. In January, the 37-year-old man drove straight into McNamara Terminal, nearly hitting travelers, before stopping at a Delta counter. Police said he was experiencing a mental health crisis and was arrested at the scene. On Feb. 13, the man was arrested by Westland police on a charge of aggravated stalking in a case unrelated to the crash. On Aug. 28, he pleaded guilty to aggravated stalking. The man is expected to be sentenced on Oct. 2. The case in the DTW crash is still being reviewed by the Wayne County Prosecutor's Office. #clickondetroit #CrimeInTheD ®
