The other side: Earlier this week, Miller's former father-in-law and U.S. Senator Bernie Moreno spoke out publicly in a lengthy social media post about the drama regarding his daughter and her ex-husband, saying Miller should serve in Congress. US Rep. Max Miller's long-running divorce feud The backstory: Miller married Emily Moreno in 2022, a year prior to their daughter being born. In August 2024 he filed for a divorce, which was finalized last June. The two have been embroiled in a custody dispute since the split that had Miller filing for a restraining order against his ex-wife who made claims of abuse against herself and their daughter.
