After being read his Miranda rights, Campos again told investigators he believed an object had struck his windshield and that he did not realize he had been involved in a crash, according to the report.

Police said Campos was arrested without incident and transported to the Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center.

Jail records show he is facing one count of leaving the scene of a crash involving serious bodily injury.

As of Tuesday morning, he remained at TGK, where his bond was listed as  to be set.
