(Atlanta News First) - Police are searching for a man accused of assaulting a clerk at a southwest Atlanta Boost Mobile store and robbing cash and more than $6,000 in devices from the business. Shortly after 11 a.m. on June 17, officers responded to a robbery at the store located at 1825 Delowe Drive SW. The suspect had fled by the time officers arrived. They learned the man had initially entered the store carrying a dark-colored suitcase. He left and returned armed with a kitchen knife. The suspect then robbed the clerk of cash, physically assaulted her, bound her hands and feet, then stole around $6,200 worth of phones and tablets before leaving the store again, police said. Surveillance footage captured the suspect walking toward Campbellton Road. Police released images of the suspect from surveillance footage.
