ST. LOUIS, Mo. (First Alert 4) -Ferguson Police Department is asking for help from the public in locating a man who was last seen Friday afternoon.

Police are searching for William Tyrone Wilbert, 29. He is described as 5'10  tall, weighing 140 pounds, with black hair, brown eyes and a medium complexion. He also has a scar on his right cheek. He was last seen wearing a red shirt, gray sweatpants and gray-and-red Nike tennis shoes.

Police say Wilbert left his residence at the 300 block of Ballroom at around 3 p.m. Friday afternoon.

Family members say Wilbert has been diagnosed with an intellectual disability. He was last seen by his brother on Chamber Road and West Florissant at around 4 p.m. Friday.

Wilbert spoke with his brother later in the afternoon and mentioned he was at January Wabash Park. Anyone with information is asked to call 911 or Ferguson Police Department's Public Information Officer at 314-978-9606.
