Authorities in suburban Schiller Park are responding to an ongoing situation Thursday afternoon.

According to a Facebook post, officers were called to the 3800 block of Ruby Street on Thursday for an unspecified incident.

Police said the incident was  under control,  but did not offer further specifics on why officers were called to the scene.

An NBC Chicago photographer at the scene reported police used flash bang grenades outside of a building, but further details were not immediately available from authorities.
