Jeune Road before it was abandoned near Northwest 19 Avenue and 16 Terrace in Allapattah, according to police.

Records show Aceituno was living near Northwest 19 Avenue and 19 Terrace in Allapattah, and his alleged crime spree involved the Miami and Coral Gables police departments and the Miami-Dade Sheriff's Office.

The Coral Gables Police Department had issued a  Be-On-the-Look-Out  alert for a suspect when a Miami-Dade Sheriff's Office deputy recognized Aceituno after an arrest on Monday, records show.

On Tuesday, a Coral Gables detective contacted the MDSO deputy, who  provided a positive ID  for Aceituno, who was at the Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center, according to a police report.

In the 12 cases prosecutors filed, Aceituno faced four counts of grand theft vehicle, five counts of burglary of an unoccupied conveyance, two counts of attempted burglary of an occupied conveyance, five counts of attempted burglary of an unoccupied conveyance, one count of trespass in an unoccupied structure or conveyance, and one count of petit theft.
