ST. LOUIS, Mo. (First Alert 4) - A man is facing felony charges after police say he hid in the backseat of a woman's car, demanded her money and told her to drive him to another location.

St. Louis County Prosecutors charged Lamont Wilson on Wednesday with first-degree kidnapping and armed criminal action. Wilson was booked into the St. Louis County Jail on a $200,000 cash-only bond.

According to a St. Louis County Police affidavit, a woman going to her vehicle inside a casino parking lot saw that her dome light was on. After driving off, police say she realized there was a man in her backseat. That man was Wilson.

She told police Wilson pointed what she believed was a gun at her and demanded money. After being told the woman had no money, police say Wilson then demanded she drive him to a specific location instead.

Investigators say they found video that showed Wilson arriving at the casino via a Lyft ride. They say they were able to track down the Lyft account that ordered the ride, and that account was registered to Wilson.

Investigators say they also saw footage that showed Wilson got into the victim's vehicle through the trunk while it was parked in the lot.

Wilson told investigators he waved his phone around like it was a gun and admitted to telling the victim where to drive. Police say Wilson told them he was going to take the victim's car, but changed his mind.
