Friday marks exactly 10 years since the shooting at Pulse nightclub in Orlando, one of the deadliest massacres in U.S. history. It was June 12, 2016, when a gunman entered the gay club and began a shooting spree that claimed the lives of 49 people and left over 50 others wounded. The nightclub was demolished this past March and the city of Orlando plans to build a memorial at the site to commemorate the people killed in the mass shooting.
