(Atlanta News First) - Twenty Atlanta residents have been indicted on federal gun and drug charges, the U.S. Attorney's Office for the Northern District of Georgia said on Tuesday. Those accused include five alleged members of the Atlanta-based street gang GoodFellas and four convicted felons. Some charges are related to the theft of nearly 1,500 guns stolen from shipping facilities in Conley and Macon. Gang‑related firearms trafficking and drug trafficking pose a grave threat to our community, U.S. Attorney Theodore S. Hertzberg said in a statement. Criminal networks that move guns and narcotics fuel violence, undermine neighborhoods, and endanger innocent lives. Several suspects are accused of selling the stolen guns to undercover agents. During the operations, they seized 24 grams of methamphetamine, 22 kilograms of marijuana, 40 grams of cocaine base, 27 grams of fentanyl and a pill press. The following were charged in six indictments on Sept. 23: Christopher Billings, 36. Charged with conspiracy to traffic firearms, firearms trafficking and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. Devarrio Burns, aka Debo, 32. Charged with conspiracy to possess with intent to distribute a controlled substance, conspiracy to traffic firearms, firearms trafficking and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. Temeka Camiel, 50. Charged with conspiracy to traffic firearms and firearms trafficking. Deanthony Cole, 33. Charged with possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. Kordion Cousins, 29.
