(Atlanta News First) - A Cobb County inmate was pronounced dead at the hospital after experiencing a medical condition at the jail, according to the sheriff's office. Deputies said that when 42-year-old Martin Floyd was evaluated on Monday, his vitals were well within normal range. But on Monday night, detainees told deputies something was wrong with Floyd. The sheriff's office said Cobb County Jail staff and first responders tried to save his life, but Floyd was not resuscitated.
