Add Us On Google Add as a preferred source on Google ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) - A Cherokee County man accused of abusing children for decades has been convicted. On Oct. 1, 71-year-old Harold Duvall was found guilty of aggravated sodomy, aggravated child molestation and first-degree cruelty to children, according to the Blue Ridge Judicial Circuit District Attorney's Office, which covers Cherokee County. Harold Duvall (Cherokee County Sheriff's Office) Woodstock police began investigating Duvall in June 2024 after a mother said her teenager told her about long-term abuse. The teen said the exploitation dated back to when he was about 5 years old. In court, prosecutors also presented evidence that Duvall had abused three other children as far back as 1981.
