ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) - A 63-year-old man was shot to death in Bremen last week, the police department said Monday.

Around 9:30 a.m. Thursday, officers responded to a person shot at a home on Pacific Avenue.

Officers found the victim, identified as Ted Kiser of Buchanan, dead from a gunshot wound outside the doorway of the home.

Police said they took a suspect into custody. They did not release the suspect's identity.

Bremen police said they and the Haralson County District Attorney's Office are reviewing charges.

Further details on the shooting have not been released.
