ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) - A motorcyclist is dead after a crash at a Dunwoody intersection, according to the city's police department.

On Thursday at around 5:15 p.m., officers were called to the incident at Tilly Mill Road and East Madison Drive. Emergency medics tried to save 21-year-old Christian Yeshitela's life, but he died at Emory Saint Joseph's Hospital, police said.

Officers believe the crash happened when a 17-year-old girl driving a Honda Accord made a left turn onto Tilly Mill Road and hit the motorcycle, ejecting Yeshitela.

No charges have been announced.
