Lemmy Version 1.1 Release Notes Lemmy Version 1.1 contains many new features. A few notes are provided here. Please see the on-line help for further information. - To set up a file association in Windows 95 or NT, and have it work with long filenames, remember to enclose the filename symbol in double qoutes (i.e. "%1"). - When you're using the "ksh" style ex edit mode, you can abort the "ex" prompt by hitting Control-C. - Aborted edit sessions from Version 1.0 will not be accessible in the recovery dialog of Version 1.1. This is due to a change in the edit buffer file format. Version 1.0 edit buffers were prefixed with LEM_*.*, Version 1.1 edit buffers are prefixed with LEX_*.*. - Lemmy now creates a secondary temp file for each edit session named CUT_*.*. This file is disposable and *should* disappear when you exit. - Two new "ex" commands are provided to support adding entries to the menus. They are mpmenu and abmenu. You'll notice that under the new "Advanced" menu (in the menu bar), and on the new right-mouse popup menu, there are place holders for maps and abbreviations. Simply defining these with "map" and "abbr" commands will *NOT* cause them to show up here. You must follow map and abbr commands with mpmenu and abmenu commands to create the menu labels, and thus have the entries appear. - Various nasty printing bugs have been fixed (again). I am continually testing this "feature". Please let me know if you run into problems with it.
